More than just a meal plan! Once a nutrition assessment has been completed we will work with you to come up with an appropriate nutrition plan for your child. While the evidence can sometimes speak for itself, coming up with a nutrition plan is a lot more involved. A nutrition plan often includes advice on what foods to eat more of or less of, different cooking methods, and strategies for increasing certain nutrients in your child’s diet. A good plan also includes how to work around age specific food issues like toddler food jags and food refusal. “A good plan also includes how to work around age specific food issues like toddler food jags and food refusal.”Together we will come up with something that you feel good about and can work with in your own home.
At Beansprout Nutrition our aim is to have you do the actual meal planning yourself based on what we see needs to happen from the assessment. You are the expert of your child and can best determine what foods they will accept and reject. We will guide you in different ways to make the best choices and help you think about how changes will fit into your lifestyle.
